"Absolutely beautiful hotel located in a perfect area to walk to the French Quarter but not have all the crazy at your doorstep. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are large. Great little speakeasy style bar attached to hotel. Highly recommend!!"

"The property was nice, full kitchen washer dryer. My only complaint was that the windows need to be replaced you can hear way too much noise from outside even regular conversation. Also a smell of moisture that was unpleasant but I febreezed.Besides that I loved it! The location was perfect"

"We have stayed at a Kimpton Hotel in the past, and we splurged to stay again. It did not disappoint. The hotel was modern, great decor, clean, and the rooms were very spacious (4 travelers: 2 adults 2 teens). We were surprised by the extra large towels & thickness. The scent of the shampoo was less desirable though. Although there were many lamps, it was still a little dim at night. I would prefer brighter light, but I get it was part of the vibe. All staff were so kind & helpful. The cleaning...

"Nice place. Location was convenient. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking down the street -meh. No fault of the hotel but people walk out the building and smoke DIRECTLY in front of the entrance -eww. Would recommend and would stay again. "

"The staff is very nice. The room was clean, however the charging station for iPhone, etc. next to the bed did not work. There was a leak in the bathroom that flooded the bathroom floor. The shower pan in the shower was stained and looked dirty. Higgins is a lovely hotel in general and in spite of the few minor glitches, we enjoyed our stay very much thank you"

"We paid for early check in for noon and weren’t able to access until after 2pm but then locked out again until 4pm. There were no sheets blankets for sofa sleeper…didn’t feel like we got what we paid for or expected "

"There was construction right above our room at SIX AM. It wasn’t emergent according to the woman at the front desk. She said it was scheduled for 10 am. She comped out breakfast. Not good enough. Sorry but that is something you don’t do to your guests. You need to do construction? You make sure the rooms are empty. $80 was not enough of a “reimbursement” to satisfy me. "
