Very old resort. Staff unfriendly. No entertainment or food option after 10:00 except a chicken fingers restaurant (which was pretty good) Room was old with things falling apart

Dirty room and super outdated. Booger on walls and bathroom handle area. The couch and chairs were so dirty with stains & the shower pressure was terrible as well. I don’t recommend staying at this property. The staff isn’t friendly, asking for help seemed impossible. Using Rita Ai was the worst experience and getting a hold of someone when trying to call front desk was impossible. The garage at night felt super unsafe with people loitering around.

No hot water the entire stay so we couldn’t shower. The rooms were outdated and the floors in the bathroom were rotting and had mold. Nobody available to answer the phone at the front desk to get help or service. Only way to access an actual human was to stand in line at the front desk and wait behind the mile long line of people constantly checking in and out. The manager was rude and inattentive. Only thing good about the entire report was the pools but even there the best pool was shut down. Do not recommend at all

I booked a room for two nights at the Masquerade Tower at Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. As soon as we opened the door, we were hit with a very strong moldy and smoky smell. The room was outdated and not suitable for a comfortable vacation stay. Because I am allergic to mold and smoke, I had to leave immediately and went to the front desk to explain my health concerns. The receptionist initially told me that I had booked the older section of the hotel and that no other rooms were available. I clearly explained my situation and emphasized that I could not stay in that environment without getting sick. After some back and forth, he returned with two options: stay or leave. I chose to leave and asked him to cancel the reservation. He confirmed that it was canceled, and I requested a receipt. He printed a pro forma showing only the resort fee. I pointed out that I had paid over $600 for two nights, not just the resort fee. He told me I would need to contact the third-party booking site for a refund. I then asked him to provide written documentation explaining why I left the room immediately due to the conditions. He refused to print anything but said he had notes in the system. I insisted on having something in writing, and eventually he wrote the reason by hand on the pro forma. Unfortunately, I did not get his name, assuming the hotel letterhead would be sufficient which was a mistake

Well, I was unable to pre check in on the app as I kept getting an error. We arrived late after 12pm so I couldn't get the room I reserved. The room we did get was spacious and clean but just had a slight musty odor, but we had a good view of the strip. The casino had some good dining options. We did not use the pool due to weather, but it looked nice from what we could see. It was a short Uber/Lyft ride to the strip although a free shuttle would be nice. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would return again if I got a good deal.

We were looking forward to laying by the pool but found out once we got there that the pool was closed for the season but when we were walking the strip all of the other resorts pools were open. Also, they did not clean our room even though we did not have a sign on our door, we had to call to get clean towels or have our room clean daily. The hotel is further off the strip and so you will spend extra ubering on and off the strip.

Room was cheap and very large however many things in the room didn’t work. We complained and got our early check in and one night of the Resort Fee refunded. Speaking of the resort fee of ~$60 a night, it is for the fitness room and WiFi, which is advertised on Expedia as “free WiFi.” Doesn’t cost $60 a night to upkeep WiFi and a lackluster fitness room. Like many of the hotel casinos, it allows smoking so when walking the quarter mile to your room expect to breathe in the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes. Either way the cheapness of the room and friendliness of the staff offset many of the flaws.

The panoramic room was huge and the view was insane! So gorgeous! It was pretty clean. It really smelled like pot & there were some leftover seeds still on the coffee table. The A/C worked great. The mini fridge was nice because it didn't have anything in it and we brought our own drinks & snacks. The bathroom was giant with a small walk-in closet & separate shower with Jacuzzi tub. Honestly that was the big draw for me was taking a long spa bath with the floor to ceiling windows, but I was very disappointed that the tub jets didn't work. Overall I would stay here again because of the price and value you get.
