"Exceptional stay and hotel. Upon checking in the ladies at the front were so sweet and welcoming. Breakfast was really good and the amenities including the laundry units were super helpful! Room was very clean and well kept, everything worked well and the modern tv allowing Disney and Netflix accessible was amazing! Hotel nearby many places including restaurants, shopping centers, etc. Even a Chick-fil-A and Wendys literally right across from the hotel. Love the place and will definitely be...

"We stayed in the old portion of this 1917 hotel. It is very unique and has a lot of history. The wood decor was beautiful throughout the hotel and although we didn't eat at the restaurant or bar, they looked very nice. The hallways to the rooms need some paint. As for the rooms, there were stars names on the doors where they had previously stayed. We had the executive suite (Gloria Swanson room) which was quiet and roomy and had a jacuzzi tub. "This property is old and it shows it. The rooms look like they are from the 1980s and smell musty. But it is clean except for the Pull-out sofa which had old popcorn under the mattress which smelled bad. Their breakfast buffet was stellar, and they were very friendly. It looked like the rooms on the first floor had been renovated so hopefully the upper floor is in progress."

It would be nice if each room could have one comfortable chair for watching tv, that would be nice. I have back problems with too much bed sitting. "Everything was great. The staff were wonderful. The beds and showers were nice. No amenities. Small property. Parking is tricky, but that is normal in Morro Bay. Very clean. It is very walkable and convenient. We had a good time."

"The elevator was out of service for the 4 days we were there and very inconvenient as we had rooms on the second floor and had to use the stairs. We were not told if the elevator issue until we arrived and we’re not offered rooms on the first floor. If a heart condition wasn’t an issue we would not have minded but it made it difficult. A clear ADA violation here!"
