"Room was available from 1 PM, we arrived earilier and they said we need to pay $50 for earliest check in(room was already cleaned). It was large amount, half price of the room. Did not like this."

"This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever stay at! The pool area looked like a disaster! I asked for a pool and ocean view instead I got a view out of a horror movie! I can add photos! For the price it definitely was not worth it. On top of that I had 2 VIP’s. We had to share a AC remote bc per the staff they don’t have one for each room. "I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. "Walking distance to plenty of great spots. Easily walkable to the beaches that are less crowded than other neighborhoods. Hotel doesn’t have a bunch of amenities, but it has charm and the staff provide a solid all around experience "

"Room was tiniest room I've ever stayed in. Not even space to open our suitcase. There was also something weird about check-in. They reached out to us twice asking what time we would arrive. We knew our room wouldn't be ready, and that was fine! But when we went back at 5 PM our room still wasn't quite ready. Not sure what was up with that.
