The room was as big as a shoe box, and i booked for three of us. not like the Expedia photos at all. Had to step sideways to move around due to no where for our luggage. the 'bathroom' was an even smaller box in the room, and smelt disgusting. the room was hot, smelly and thank god we only had it for 1 night.

Using the term “hotel” for this place is generous. When we arrived, there was no lobby of any kind, just a desk at the end of a hallway with no signage of any kind. There was no one at the desk upon our arrival, after several minutes, an employee arrived. We eventually went to our room (at the bottom of the smallest staircase known to man), the room was extremely crammed and not well kept. The shower was barely big enough for one adult and was dirty / potentially moldy? We had booked 8 nights at this place, we didn’t end up staying even 45 minutes as we felt uneasy at this place. Then, we were not able to get a refund of any sort - which is ridiculous as we did not stay even one night. DO NOT STAY HERE!

El hotel es pequeño al igual que las habitaciones, pero tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas noches, me gustó mucho ya que esta en un área muy tranquila y con varios puntos de transporte y una tienda 24 horas. La atención es perfecta y muy amable.

Hôtel réservé par dépit, j’appréhendais fortement l’arrivé à l’hôtel au vu des nombreux commentaires négatifs. J’ai réservé une chambre avec sdb privative et c’était relativement correct : la chambre et la sdb sont minuscules mais ça fait parfaitement l’affaire pour une nuit. Niveau propreté, sans être nickel, ça allait, mieux que ce que je redoutais. Je suis contente d’avoir pris une sdb privative (la commune n’avait pas l’air propre). Par contre, il faisait très chaud pour dormir. Bref, chambre avec sdb a petit budget, correcte pour le prix. Hôtel bien situé et monsieur gentil à l’accueil (il n’a pas fallu payer de caution pour la clé comme j’avais pu le lire). Ok pour un court séjour si vous n’avez pas besoin d’un grand confort et d’espace.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was extremely small, with dirty curtains and a mattress where you could feel every spring—definitely not comfortable. There was no storage space for clothes, and the shower was dirty as well. The tap in the shower barely worked: either scalding hot or freezing cold, with no in-between and very poor water pressure. Another major inconvenience was that you can’t leave your luggage at the hotel if you arrive before check-in or need to check out early. When I asked the man at the reception if I could leave my suitcase for a while, I was met with a dumbfounded look and the response: “Does it look like I have space for that?”—instead of simply and politely saying there was no room available. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming. The walls are paper-thin—you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which makes it very hard to get a good night’s sleep. The floor in our room was uneven to the point where you could literally trip getting out of bed. Although breakfast was supposedly included, no explanation was given about where or when it was served. There was also mention of a hairdryer being available, but I certainly didn’t see one in the room. On top of all that, the photos of the rooms online are very misleading—they do not reflect the reality at all. In my opinion, the value for money was extremely poor. I paid far too much for what this place is actually worth. Only positive thing: located close to King’s Cross & Metro.

Very small room. There was no place to lay the suitcases and open those to take the stuff out. The room was on 3rd floor and there was no lift. The pics of the room shown on the website don't match at all the actual room that I got. The wifi stopped working from 10 pm the day I checked in and was not working until the next day when I checked out . Terrible experience.

I booked this hotel after being seduced by the photos on Expedia — you know, those dreamy shots of a clean, spacious room with soft lighting and minimalist charm. Fast forward to real life: I walked into what felt like a crime scene sponsored by mildew and disappointment. Let’s break it down: - Clean and spacious? Try dusty and cramped. I’ve seen storage lockers with better square footage and fewer health hazards. - That nice headboard area in the photo? In reality, featured mysterious stains and moldy splotches mere inches from where your face is supposed to rest. Cozy! - The shower? Looked like it had been through a natural disaster and was still recovering. - The carpets? So wrinkled and warped I nearly tripped and time-traveled. - And the cherry on top? Our window opened up to a construction site, complete with friendly workers who could probably tell you what color your pajamas are. It gets better. The receptionist told us our room was "just one floor up". What he really meant was three narrow, steep, elevator-less flights of stairs. With suitcases. By the time we reached the room, we were halfway to Everest Base Camp. We lasted less than 5 minutes before heading back to reception, politely asking for a refund. The receptionist looked at us like we were the problem and claimed, "No one has ever complained before." Spoiler: We checked Google reviews — oh, people have definitely complained. A lot. Basic hotel but we only needed a bed for the night. Room was small but we didn't have luggage so not an issue, and the room itself was clean. Walls are thin, but it wasn't noisy during the night and our sleep was fine. Friendly welcome from the staff member on reception, and we would stay again given the price and location.

Location is wonderful, lots of great restaurants and easy transportation. Area in and around completely safe. But the physical hotel is the downside. Our windows didn’t close correctly, loud off the street, no air conditioning, no daily room maintenance, the shared shower and toilet rooms are unsanitary. During our stay the toilet seat broke and no one fixed it. Expect Dutch stairs which are very narrow and easy to fall. There is no lift available at property.

You get what you pay for. Had basic amenities but only had one lumpy pillow each and one small table fan to cool us. Plusses were It’s in a very convenient location and easy to get to. It was what you’d expect for a budget hotel.
