Overall, this was a pleasant enough stay for 2 adults and 1 child.
Unfortunately, there were a number of things that brought my rating down. Firstly, I had booked an 'Elite Apartment with City View' which turned out to be a bottom floor apartment with a view of steps, rubbish bags and the underneath of the pavement of the street outside. We heard anyone and everyone who walked or drove past and had to keep the curtains shut.
It felt like it had no sound proofing at all. We could hear every footstep and conversation of the apartment above, which was not great at 1am with a 9 year old. We could also hear the outside and the apartment that was on the same floor as us. The sofa bed was horrendous, too. We all tried to sleep on it at different times and all struggled.
Communication prior to the stay was great, until we called a half hour before arriving, which we were asked to do but I don't think the lady we spoke to had communicated this to the relevant person as we had to wait at the door. To be fair, we were earlier than check in but had been told we were okay to drop our bags off.
The gentleman who did come to check us in was friendly, efficient and apologetic and I cannot fault him. He allowed us to drop off our bags and gave us the key. Safety did not feel compromised.
It was well connected, near the tube, near attractions and was quiet enough (outside). It was also well decorated and had all the amenities we needed. We feel we didn't quite get what we booked.
