The “drinking” water from the water fountain in the lobby was questionable. My party of 3 all got upset stomachs from it on morning number 1, we avoided after that and seemed fine. Rooms are ‘cozy’ and definitely close quarters, including the restroom. We are 3 five foot four inch tall women, and couldn’t turn around without knocking things from the sink, table top, each other. Most reviews mentioned this so we were somewhat prepared, but it was definitely an experience to be close! Beds weren’t the best, but not the worst I’ve slept on. We had pleasant temperatures so ‘turning the AC on’ aka opening the window was pleasant in the evenings. Pack light, no lifts to the room floors and stairs are narrow. We enjoyed our time in London, and the restaurants around the hotel are stellar. The park across the street is beautiful and we spent some time there, perfect for a picnic. And couldn’t beat the location and ease of Paddington station. We didn’t have hotel breakfast but going to catch the tube/subway, plenty of cafe shops there to get a coffee & add a pastry for 1pound more.
