"My adult daughter and I stayed one night here. The experience was extremely uncomfortable. The nighttime manager was friendly and took our bags, but he led us through 10 minutes of crowded, chaotic medina alleys full of men lingering around, mopeds brushing past, and one man approaching us aggressively. Inside, the riad looked pleasant at first glance, but a strong damp, musty smell hit immediately. The manager mentioned recent courtyard construction, and dust from that work was still everywhere. The riad didn’t match the photos; the design was decent, but many finishes were shoddy. Our room had visible dirt, an old shower drain full of hair, a loose faucet, cracking plaster, and ground‑up cement or sanding dust in the bathroom hardware. It was freezing, the heat didn’t work, there was a faint smell of cat urine, and our request for a blanket went unanswered. The nighttime manager said he’d issue a refund but was unreachable when Hotels.com called and wasn’t there the next morning. The daytime manager however was excellent—kind, professional, and proactive. He contacted the nighttime manager directly so the situation could be corrected and our full nonrefundable stay was refunded. The conditions in the riad itself were simply untenable."

"Pool was not open. We were informed that tap water not drinkable. Hotel initially provided 1 small water bottle per guest but we were told any additional bottles were the guest’s responsibility. We feel that the Riad should provide as much drinkable water as required for guests. Staff very accommodating and helpful (Thank you Bouba, Abraham & Mouran). Location of the Riad was within walking distance of most attractions. "

"I loved my stay at the riad. Staff was really nice and professional, the place is beautiful, nicely decorated and with a welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. It is slightly difficult to find, across the street from the mosque you will notice a narrow alley in between buildings. It looks a bit shady but it is safe, at the end of the alley turn right and you will see the riad entry."

"What a fabulous Riad. From the moment you walk in you are greeted like family. You are served tea and pastries in the courtyard for the check in while your bags are taken to your room. We had the suite w/ terrace overlooking the courtyard which is a beautiful room. The entire staff are always available to help you and usually anticipate what you need before you ask. Great breakfast included every morning. Dinners in the restaurant are excellent with huge servings. Just can’t say enough about how special this Riad is. Want to say thank you to all the staff but a special thank you to Mohammed and Hakin who took care of us morning to night. They made my granddaughters birthday one she will never forget.
