"We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!"

"Lovely stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained throughout our visit. The back lawn/outdoor area was absolutely lovely and very relaxing, with a great atmosphere. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful despite it being an extremely busy bank holiday weekend. The food was really good throughout our stay and the bar area was a great place to unwind in the evening. Would certainly return."

"Great little find for myself and husband for his birthday. Really friendly staff, lovely clean room and good food and drink options. Leads directly into the forest which was lovely, a five min walk down to the village for a pint and a wonder round! Definitely will stay again"

"I was incredibly impressed with this hotel. The value for money was excellent. I booked a family room for five of us (3 kids) - which in itself is unusual to be able to fit 5 in one room! - when we were visiting Paulton Park. I didn’t do much research and we were all very pleasantly surprised with how good it was.. the family friendly welcome, facilities, and amenities were great. "Booked "dog-friendly room" (it's handy to have that description in the room information when booking as otherwise I'd ring the hotel before booking to check if dogs are ok in room we're booking, so thanks for that). Note that £30pn is charged on top of room rate for a dog. It was a premium room, so had a lounge area with tv (Disney etc) & separate bedroom area. All very clean and comfy. Keiran was very welcoming on reception and offered to book us in for breakfast. We arrived late and no food...

"We had a two night stay for my husbands 50th birthday and had a great time. The staff were all extremely polite and friendly. The hotel was very clean and beautifully presented. Excellent breakfast and fantastic location with plenty of parking. We will definitely be going back."

"Ideal location for the town and the New forest. Just a walk across the road and you are in the New forest. Lots of parking available. Staff were lovely and friendly. There is a bus stop right outside in case you do not drive or wish not to drive. We did have breakfast and dinner, both of which were very good. Caters for breakfast and dinner and has a bar. Room was clean, had everything that you needed. This hotel allows dogs. There was no smell of dogs throughout the building and not one dog...

"Breakfast service was a little chaotic due to the numbers of residents eating in one sitting, with only 3 members of staff on duty. The selection and quality of food however was very good. The staff are always busy but extremely approachable and will always help if there is an issue. The rooms are clean, a little basic but comfortable. The swimming pool is very good and a huge asset to the hotel. The hotel is ideally suited for walking into the town of Lyndhurst, just a few minutes walk away....
