They ordered a taxi for our early morning trip to the bamboo forest, directed us to the near by shrines we had wanted to see, brought coffee pack to our room so we didn't have to wait. "

There were only 2 pillows in the room, and when I ask for more the staff informed me there were none. At a hotel? No pillows? The room was clean enough, but not spotless. There were dirty spots on the carpet and visible dust on furniture. However, it's not a bad place. So it's tricky to rate. The location is great and it's quiet and safe. The room is spacious for Japanese standards and the shower is amazing. It was wonderful having our own washing machine. There was no iron however."
