I had a terrible experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The room was dirty and had a persistent bad odor. To make matters worse, the door was defective, making me feel uneasy about security. The amenities were non-existent: the internet didn't work, and there was no hot water for the duration of my stay. On my final morning, there was no water in the bathroom at all. When I tried to address these issues, the customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. Don't waste your money on the breakfast either; it was overpriced and incredibly salty. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Pleasant hotel. I enjoyed the location; the hotel being on the beach. The experience swimming was great; the water was so pure and warm. The staff was very sweet and helpful.

EVERYTHING felt neglected. I gave this stay 2 stars because the layout of the hotel is gorgeous and still offered some type of pleasant scenery primarily due to the locations and scenery. I paid for two rooms and instantly regretted it once I got to my room. It has cobwebs allover, hair was still in the sink. Despite the maid trying her best to make the accommodations look like something, it was to no avail. The bed sheets were not cleaned but spread in such a way to hide things, in my opinion. Parts of the chair were dirty with unknown brown clumps. The draws were off the runner and lopsided. We decided to watch TV but couldn't locate the remote. We found it way under the bed in an area we couldn't get to. It should have been retrieved before anyone got into the room. My cousin and I slept in our clothes we were so unsure of the state the beds were in. The balcony was nice. There isn't much to see on the grounds. I am not sure who owns this place, but an evaluation needs to happen with better investment. I was told this was one of the oldest hotels in Ochi, but it has the potential to be great again and amongst coveted hotels. The American breakfast that came with your room purchase was sad, Toast with jelly and a beverage. I will not revisit this place until great changes are made. Expedia, I am very disappointed that your team does not update to get accurate pictures. I'll take some fault in that; I should have looked on Google reviews but what in a bind.

I like this property it has so much potential, but it needs a little work. I think the owners should allow a lease of the room where someone can invest in fixing up the rooms and rent it for the market price and pay the owner what the normally would charge. The rooms are so spacious and roomy and the view is a amazing! I would suggest not taking the breakfast plan because it's only coffee tea and breads are provided. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. I would stay here again because the price is

I have stayed at this property many times over the years. It has progressively gotten more and more rundown and and disgusting. Everything about the room was wrong! I see I will say that it was generally clean but there were absolutely no amenities to this room. We had one light bulb in the room and the air conditioning could only be turned on at the wall at 16 degrees Celsius or nothing. The pillow, the sheets, and blanket were all disgusting and absolutely need to be replaced. I unfortunately will not ever stay here again they have let this property get to the point that it is not even suitable for a quick stay in ochi. The exterior of the property is completely deteriorated to the point of wondering if it is even a viable establishment. They advertise a pool yet for the last 3 years it has never been open. This is such a prime location and used to be a very nice place. No matter how cheap it is it is somewhere that I don't believe anyone would feel comfortable staying in.

Great value in the heart of Ocho, but not an all inclusive, this hotel suits white and black people who are confident enough to walk about a secure Jamaican resort town and engage with locals on occassion and not so much for the timid holiday goer.

Situated just a five-minute walk from the bustling tourist town of Ocho Rios, the hotel's location is convenient for exploring local attractions. Plus, being beachfront adds to its charm, allowing for easy access to beautiful views and relaxation by the sea. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The Wi-Fi connection could be enhanced, as it tends to be a bit spotty at times. Additionally, the TVs in the rooms are on the smaller side, which can be a drawback for those who enjoy watching shows or movies during their downtime. The hotel is very run down. There is no computer to assist with speedy check in. The front desk attendant had to call someone who could give details about my last minute reservation. The hotel seems to bring in locals who rent the spaces. It's located on the oceanfront but the hotel is dated ... a little grimy, dated furniture... no frills spot. The bed linens were not spotless. Pros- the wifi television and the AC. The floors seemed spotless/dustless.

My husband and I visited Silver Seas in celebration of our 2 year relationship anniversary and half year wedding anniversary. The view of the sea was beautiful. All we needed was a restful stay, and that is what we got. This hotel is excellent for resting and if you just love to reflect on nature. The property is indeed old, but it provided what we needed. The outside table on the porch was not clean, but the room is spacious. It is a small hotel, so don't expect entertainment apart from nature. The chef cooks well as well.
