"Very clean. I was impressed at first glance. But, there were a few things that make this place less desirable. The sink and counter top area is outside the toilet and shower area. But, the counter is not within reach of the shower door. No place to set clothing for changing after a shower. I really don't like having no place to put things in the shower area. "We stayed 4 nights. The room is very small but clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. There is some airport noise, but only during the day and we didn't find it a problem. The staff was very helpful. It is in a very convenient location and the price was excellent for a stay in Monterey Peninsula. We liked being able to drive right up to the room. Nice flowers throughout the property."

"Definitely a unique hotel with a fun, vintage atmosphere. It had basic amenities in the room, no fridge- but i had a cooler. The unique decor was what sells this room- it was the Norma Jean room.
