"Staff very friendly and welcoming, always greeting you when you entered. Facilities are great especially for self-catering. Bathrooms clean. Rooms a little dated. Bunk beds very sturdy-not rickety or squeaky. Only negative I can think of is the bed sheets are too small for the beds so they come untucked very easily meaning I woke up often sleeping on the mattress instead of the sheet. Overall a great property, great location, good for parking too. Very hilly if you are walking though!"

"I was put right at the top. It might have been nice to be in a lower room as I had a lot of bags. No one answered the telephone. The room was a bit tired and worn, not worthy of the price paid. It felt more like an elderly bnb than a boutique hotel. "

"Such a lovely hotel with so many nice extra touches, like the complementary soft drinks, coffees and pick & mix station (unlimited!). We also received delicious fresh chocolate treats and bottled water on arrival and departure! We stayed with our spaniel, and she was very welcomed by all staff (as were we!). The car park was full when we arrived (only for a couple of hours due to an event), but it was no issue as the hotel has overflow access to parking in the bowls carpark next door. Parking...

"Lovely hotel, Some staff very welcoming - the bar man and the waiter at breakfast went above and beyond. The room however was very warm and we could not get the air conditioning to work - even with the window open it was unbearable. The bathroom sink was a bit limescaley for my liking in what is classed as a high quality hotel. Overall the stay was lovely"

"Staying here was an absolute delight. Great location 5 min walk to bus stop and supermarket. Beautiful apartment with excellent kitchen, washer dryer (all in one), upstairs toilet and ensuites for both bedrooms downstairs. Comfortable, modern, clean. There were even extra touches with a lovely Xmas tree and decorations in the apartment. Great place to stay for families extra bed available for upstairs lounge room as well. "Under bed was extremely dirty. Was directed to the coffee lounge as bar not open and waited for ages for someone to come & take our order. Service at breakfast on the Sunday was poor & we waited over half an hour for our breakfast. Found receptionist on our check in to be rather rude"
