"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"We have just had two glorious nights with the fantastic bird . From the minute we got there the staff were attentive and friendly , must give a mention to a few .. Tony , Laura , Tom , Nic , Adrian and valentina . The breakfasts are second to non, we ate on the Saturday night out on the beautiful garden terrace , burgers were great and the two desserts lemon and honeycombs Sunday and the dark chocolate macaroon was exceptional. Everywhere was clean and welcoming with the most amazing decor ....

"The hotel has a very much a 5-star feel, reminiscent of something out of Downton Abbey. The building and public areas are grand, and the complimentary Elemis toiletries were a nice touch. Unfortunately, my room had several issues. The toilet seat appeared to be broken, and the bathroom layout was poorly designed. The bidet was positioned extremely close to the sink, making it easy for personal items to fall into it. The sink tap was also awkwardly placed, making it difficult to comfortably wash...

"Absolutely lovely stay as a solo traveller. Has all the charm and feel of Bath I was so surprised when I turned the corner and saw the street of gorgeous Georgian townhomes I would be staying on. Location was perfect - walkable to everything and super convenient to be able to come back before dinner and not lose any time. My room had a stunning view of the town on the top floor."

"Loved the character and position only a very short walk into Bath. Unfortunately during our stay was a heatwave so the four flight's of stairs were sometimes a bit much. Saw lots of places in Bath and on our last day, out of our window, hot air balloons went past to.us. Magical"

"The place was great but we just happened to go during a historical heat wave and there was no AC ! The staff were super helpful and gave us a Dyson fan but the heat was unbearable at times . The place is nice and very close to all attractions. The room was cozy and comfortable . We would have eaten there but instead looked for dining places that had AC so we could cool off !"

"Staying here was an absolute delight. Great location 5 min walk to bus stop and supermarket. Beautiful apartment with excellent kitchen, washer dryer (all in one), upstairs toilet and ensuites for both bedrooms downstairs. Comfortable, modern, clean. There were even extra touches with a lovely Xmas tree and decorations in the apartment. Great place to stay for families extra bed available for upstairs lounge room as well. Highly recommend this property! "

"Hotel is located in the center of Bath and 12 minutes walk to Roman Bath. Walking to Jane Austen Center, circus or Royal Cresent all within 15 minutes. Room is well sized and tastefully decorated and sparkly clean. Have to mention that the bathroom was beautifully designed. Amenities provided was great, like kettle, coffee press machine, safe, etc. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Although it is in central area but night time the street was very quiet. "Great Location but a bit tired and the oven was faulty which made cooking impossible. The fridge/ Freezer was in need of defrosting. Communal washing machine hard to find. Needed a deep clean. Great location saved it."
