"Beautiful property. Very central location. Lovely, romantic courtyard. We did not have a top sheet on our bed during our stay, thought I asked for one, only a duvet. But it was too warm to use a blanket or sheet anyway! Hospitable staff."

"The hotel does not have central A/C. We had to move from a loft room because it was too hot. The new room was cool but water dripped from the A/C unit onto the floor and if you step there you might fall thru to the ceiling below. The elevator is OLD and scary as heck. You barely fit 2 people in it. We used the valet service and when we were checking out, we had to describe our keys and car to them. When they parked it, they didn’t label the keys so all weekend they had no idea who they belonged...

"Great location and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice and clean with a comfortable bed. The coffee shop downstairs has great coffee. The dinner in The Grill Room, the restaurant upstairs, was delicious! Great place to stay."

"This is a small and unique property, with a very welcoming staff. It is a "throw back" to the times when hotels were a special place and not a chain commodity. The rooms were large and well appointed. The hotel is close to the Vieux Carre, but far enough away from the madness of Bourbon Street. Our room had the best hotel shower ever - which says a lot about the quality of the property in general. I would not hesitiate to stay there again."

"The haunted hotel was great its walking distance to everything. The lore behind the place is fascinating and we had some paranormal but the ghost seem friendly. The staff are super friendly makes thst worth the stay just on that alone."

"I did not like that you had to use 3 entirely different elevators from parking you use 1 elevator to the 2nd floor to check in. The. You use another different elevator to go to ur room. To get to the hotel restaurant you need to go to 2nd floor walk around the checkin area and take a 3rd elevator to the 3rd floor to eat. NOT A GOOD SET UP"

"We liked this hotel a lot. We appreciated that it was close to the French Quarter, but also a little removed and quieter. Our AC went out, but the staff quickly had us move to another room where it was working. Very cool building and a great experience!"

"Frenchmen is close to many eating and music venues. Staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We certainly enjoyed our time there. When staying here one should be aware that the building was built in 1860 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. A flight of stairs took us to our room 211. Inside the unit was two story with bathroom on the entry level and a queen bed on a loft reached with 17 stairs. Not handy for a 3 am trip to the toilet. I am 74 years old and get...

"Parking on the premises for a fww, if you come out the front door, take a right it’s literally about two blocks from the French market. This is an extremely basic hotel, no microwave and extremely small mini fridge. The coffee service in my opinion could use a little sprucing up. Other than that, wasn’t too shabby. Gets the job done."
