"This hotel was really a mixed bag. I was suppose to get some perks with Expedia such as a food and beverage credit and room upgrade. They did not mention any of that when I checked in and I had to inquire. They confirmed the food credit was available, but would not give me an upgraded room. I believe it was because we already settled into our room before inquiring about the upgrade. I will never let the Expedia 'perks' sway me to book a particular hotel again. However, I was able to check in early which was so nice after a long day of traveling. The room was clean, but the window was facing a dark wall. I could not see anything which was a real disappointment. And did not get the upgraded room and in fact, I probably got the absolute worst room in the entire building. I don't think I will stay at this hotel again. The location was in a decent area, but the restaurant attached was awful and we had to walk to find food. I think this hotel is okay."

"Very close to the important landmarks, memorials and government headquarters. Closer than Watergate Hotel. "

"The best stay for a weekend trip, had the best water pressure I’ve ever had in a hotel. Keep in mind if you go during the weekend their will be a line for the rooftop and you have to have a key card to go to places within the hotel, so you will have to share the elevator with visitors."

"It’s not far from Metro stops. Parking near the hotel is a bit of a challenge (out front are posted “No parking, etc.”) It’s a convenient location to WH & Smithsonian. No fridge in the room was kind of lame. The Nespresso machine was nice. Everything is very clean. And they hold bags for you for the day- nice perk . "

"Stairs to enter the property which was awkward at night with suitcases. We checked in at 10 PM and had to wait 10 minutes for the single attendant. The room was good, comfortable bed and well decorated. Close to convention center, easy Uber just felt on the edge of sketchy."

"I think service was the most disappointing at front desk and restaurant . The host Also , we ended up going to Riggs for breakfast one morning because the breakfast menu was very mediocre and eating it for 3 days in a row got very old . Dinner menu is not bad but also only if you eat there once , they don’t even offer daily specials that would add a little variety . "
