"出来て四年目の施設でとても綺麗でした。 従業員の方々皆さん素敵な笑顔で出迎えてくださいました。お風呂のタイル画（特に富士山）が素敵でした。遊歩道散策用にベンチコートの用意もしてありました。近くにコンビニがあるのも便利で良いです。お料理もとても美味しかったです☆また伺いたい宿です。"

"A dream stay! It is the most authentic Japanese experience we could’ve ever imagined. Absolutely breathtaking room (we got the room with the private hot spring and garden) and just wow. It was our last hotel before we traveled back home and we really are grateful it was! They provide excellent service and the amenities and cleanliness is top notch. I would highly recommend this to anyone! Worth the money."

"Lovely spacious hotel with a traditional Japanese onsen. Staff were very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, hotel does not accommodate vegetarians very well. Though there is vegetarian options for breakfast, there is nothing available at other times. Additionally they have eco housekeeping policy where they just leave fresh towels and toiletries outside your room. Any trash has to be left outside the room for it to be cleared. "

"This property is one of a kind. The staff is amazing and will do everything they can to make your stay feel special and like your the only people there. The hotel itself is beautiful from the infinity pond with the bamboo forest behind it to the walkways to your room and beyond, and the food… the food is to die for. It’s an elegant selection of many dishes"

"The staff were helpful however language communication could be confusing. The views from the higher floors were really nice. A simple place for short stay not sophisticated"

"We booked two massages at 4 pm. The hotel forgot one of them. We were offered apologies but no compensation. The forgotten massage was given after dinner, not an ideal time. The shiatsu massage is done in your room on your bed. The spa massage was lovely and is done in the spa."

"We loved that they brought in yoga in the morning and a geisha in the afternoon. The onsen was fabulous after a long day if travel"

"Clean and spacious room. The beds on the floor were not very comfortable, especially the pillows. Staff was very helpful in making arrangements when possible although they did not seem to know much about the Five Lakes area. Overall if you are interested in Hakone/Gora this is a great property. "

"Room is good, but the shower room is on the ground floor same place with the hot spring, the bus stop is nearby to the train station, however there is no supermarket or restaurant nearby, you have to take the bus to get there, hotel is quite far from the train station that the bus fare is not cheap "
