"Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. The baths were clean and stocked with products. I truly couldn't recommend this ryokan more. It's a hidden gem. Pro tip: do NOT walk there. The hill is killer - take the cable car. "
