"If you want to be in proximity to Times Square, but at the same time not deal with the full craziness of the area, you can't beat this location. The rooms are small but smartly laid out, and the hotel in generally has a very calm vibe. My only issue - and hopefully this was just a real unlucky coincidence - is that the fire alarm went off twice in three days. The first time was just after 3AM, and the second was around 8:30 AM the following day. "

"It's small (welcome to NYC!), but very well done. All staff members we encountered were so friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Some items could use a refresh but the rooms were well-appointed. There is a fun bar right next door, but the only caveat is due to its popularity, if your room is facing the street, it is loud - not traffic noise but loud people outside. Again, that's NYC. Overall, great location, great hotel and I would definitely stay there again!"

"The bellhop met us at our car and had our luggage in the hotel before we even exited the car. Every single person was so pleasant and positive. The room and entire hotel was spotless and the VIEW from the 28th floor was breathtaking. We’re beyond pleased with the option of upgrading to the top floor. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a central location to all things Manhattan, including the subway. "
