"Beautiful hotel, but the facilities need upgrading. The showers were slippery and dangerous. The room was so hot at night despite temperatures being cold for the season of travel.
But the hotel was located in a great spot so I can't complain too much since I only needed it for a place to lay my head. If I was there for the hotel specifically, I might look elsewhere. Would stay again for location alone."

"It's a hard hotel to be rated as the room we booked was misleading in Expedia, it was far worse, smaller, dated than in the pictures and description. "Hotel is located in a very nice area of Edinburgh, however there is nothing walking distance around it. Which isn't the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind. Hotel and rooms are dates, no sense of urgency with customer care. Example, needed a new key and was asked why I needed it, after explaining why the front desk lady said it will be a minute as she's posting charges. Check the bed(s), mine had a spring popping through the material and could have cut me while sleeping."
