"Had the best 8 night stay at the westerly! The entire staff was super friendly & helpful. Everything was clean & really nice. The resort is directly on the beach so that was awesome & we had a good view from our room (ocean view)! There was so much to do directly across the street from the resort so that was convenient as well. And the waiters on the beach were the best! Will definitely stay here again!"

"Located in a nice quiet section of Aruba about a half mile from the beach. Enjoyed the walk whenever we had lazy beach days. Breakfast (included) was delicious each day that I enjoyed i. The Wacky wahoo restaurant is a very short walk from the hotel, which is a very enjoyable restaurant with a great menu of delicious Cuban food. A convenience store and grocery store are located across the street as well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the less busy part of the Palm Beach...

"This hotel has a great location. Beach is nice. Water was nice as well. Housekeeping was very slow and unreliable. I wasn’t able to check in to my room until 5pm after arriving at 1pm. I don’t expect early check in, but I do expect the room to be ready by the 4pm check in time. "I paid fully through Expedia yet when I went to go check in, I was charged an additional $81.24 in “taxes”. Nowhere in the listing nor the confirmation email from the hotel did it state this would happen.
Mind you, my total price paid prior to the additional fake tax was $402 (including TAXES and stay protection).
$81.24 is almost 30% of my stay price. How does that even make sense?
So serves me right for trying to go the budget route because between the scam tax + taxi costs because...

"The entire property looks like something out of a fairy land. Clean and immaculate. The staffs are very friendly and kind, speaks many different languages. Our balcony overlook the ocean with perfect sunset views. Breakfast was our best part. There's something for everyone.

"A couple of friends and I used the rental for less than a day to shower and leave our things somewhere safe while we walked around the downtown area. The host were extremely accommodating even with us only using the unit for a few hours. They helped us get a taxi after 10pm on the 4th of July while traffic was still very busy from the fireworks show.
The property had the most adorable feline security guard."
