"Nice hotel in a very good location but the rooms were hot and the thermostats must have been set and controlled elsewhere because no matter what we set the rooms at, the temperature never got cool. It made for a warm night sleeping. Otherwise it was great. "

It was on a timer and if you were in the shower it would just click off and youd be lift in darkness. Staff was okay for the most part besides the bell hop. "I had a nice two night stay at the Blackstone. It’s well maintained, clean and staff are friendly. It’s near the river and was a 5-10 minutes walk to the Art Institute and Auditorium Theatre. Bath products were lovely and the robe was so comfy. I was a solo female traveller and I felt very safe and comfortable at this property. Two small considerations: the restaurant closes by 10. Coming home from the theatre, it would have been nice to have a nightcap option that didn’t require an uber ride....

"We lost power to our room on the last day of our stay. Valet parking was listed as available, but was sold out and we had to park several blocks away. It ended up being fine, but it just wasn't what we expected. No breakfast, only an attached restaurant that gives 10% off. "
