"This was an amazing place with an incredible nostalgia. We got there at midnight the first night because of a late flight. One of the members of the family who owned this place, showed up at the gate and let us in. When you get there, you get a key to open the gate into the garden area. The rooms are old, but designed with a lot of charm. We had the bathroom with the pinewood tub. The entire experience was five stars. "Hotel was clean, quiet & breakfast was delicious, location is convenient. We stayed 2 nights, my only expectation was for the room to be cleaned while venturing out, but was told rooms were typically cleaned every other day or upon request. Other than the they stay went well!"

"The location is good there's a lot of food and shopping options, the staff was friendly and helpful, I didn't inspect the room but it looked clean, breakfast was good- eggs, sausage, breads, muffins, fruit, cereal and waffles, there's a laundry room on site, the only issue I came across was the wifi- I had to call the help support service to get connected the tech rep was nice and helpful and got the job done. Free parking is on site."

"The linen was stained. Bathroom for did not work properly. A chair and the soft bed had a distinct odor. The chair was stained as well. While checking in the front deck person. Stop checking me in to help someone else that was there after me. I thought well thats rude. There were no instructions on how to check out. Not posted in room or even told when checking in."

"The breakfast was disgusting and definitely not worth 22$ it is all you can eat so if you’re looking for quantity over quality this option would be a great choice, there’s so many hidden fees and you need to pay for parking if you decide to drive there, the front desk staff were short tempered and unkind to any questions asked. In the listing which was a big draw to why we booked with them was supposedly their fire pits which none of them had propane in them. It was super cool to see the fish...

"The Handlery is evidently an older property due for a facelift and renovation. The pool was nice, though I was looking forward to an actual swim up bar. The rooms are adequate, but could use a bit more deeper cleaning. There was a commotion in our building where we had to deal with noise disturbance by an irate guest. Front desk did say they were handling it."

"The breakfast buffet was excellent. They have shrimp cocktail and omelette station for morning breakfast buffet. The ocean view was phenomenal. Best thing about it is the hour from 9am-12pm for the buffet."
