"We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . "

"Nice friendly hotel. Room 202 was an excellent Deluxe Double with a huge bed. Very comfy! Breakfast was very good even though the fried eggs were a bit hit and miss. You could ask for poached eggs though. All in all a great stay and only a 30 minute bus ride into the city. Local pub a short stroll away."
