"Room was clean and whilst the bed was very firm I slept well. Breakfast was a delight and the staff very helpful."

"Nice hotel, an older building with a more modern extension. Professional friendly and service oriented staff everywhere. We just had an anniversary night away and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dinner was excellent and well served and waited on. Our bedroom wasn’t air conditioned and that would have been a bonus as it was in the 30s outside, however the fan in the room was a life saver. Other rooms do have aircon so it’s worth asking."

"The room was small but very comfortable especially the bed which was perfect for a relaxing sleep. Staff were amazing and I couldn’t fault their kindness and eagerness to help. It was very dog friendly but it would have been nice to have had something available in the room for my dog such as a water bowl etc but that is a minor point"

"We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff made us feel welcome and well looked after. There was a good choice of food for both breakfast and dinner, cooked to a high standard. Our room was spacious and clean, offering plenty of comfort throughout our stay. The only downside was that some of the furniture felt a little tired and could benefit from an update, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience. "Well located close to the M20 and nearby Bearsted village, which is really picturesque. Wifi was really slow for me which was a bit of a pain. Room was lovely - ground floor with a small terrace onto the golf course. Leisure facilities are good. Cafe is a nice place to work."

"We had the most wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful and the big bath was a perfect treat! Also , the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Meals were delicious and the staff were courteous and friendly. We are already planning a longer stay in this really lovely hotel."

"Here again for another cycling race at Gravesend. There are closer hotels, and we are only here for the electricity, but without that tie, would we still stay here? Well looked after and made to feel at home, so probably yes."
