I am very disappointed with my stay at Embassy Suites Hilton Palm Desert. The condition of the room(s) do not reflect standards that is associated with the Hilton brand. The rooms were deplorable and lacked the class and elegance that the Hilton brand is known for. No guest should have to stay in or pay for filthy looking soiled carpet, torn headboards, sagging couches, visible wholes in the walls from moved fixtures, sliding off tract doors and the absolute worst a non working toilet. Those were the collective conditions of the three rooms we were given to stay in. Each time Management reminded me that I booked the reservation through Expedia as if the money I paid in advance and any resolution for my Hotel stay lost its value. I am appalled. Either Hilton and Expedia leadership is grossly unaware of the way this property represents its brand in person and on social media or are only interested in a cash grab at the expense of its customers. I really regret giving such a low rating to an establishment that I held in high regard. I really hope the Embassy Suites Hilton/Expedia Leadership do the right thing and follow up and address my concerns in a way that dignifies my time, effort and expense.

Room was spotless and very clean. The bar service was excellent. The breakfast was excellent. A lot variety of food. The customer service and room service was excellent. Pool was very cozy and clean. Will definitely stay here with the family.

The Hotel needs an uplifting overall. Our room had plumbing issues, clogged bathroom washing and tub sink. The toilet seat lid was shifting to the sides. The next day, no one came in to clean up the room, when asked, they said due to short staffing and only clean towels were provided. The icemaker machines, out of service, only one in the lower level was working. Trash cans located prior entering the access door from the parking area, absolutely disgusting, full of trash and containers super dirty. For the price paid per night $$$, it was not worthwhile compared to other choices in the area. Definitely will not comeback.

When I checked in I was early and was charged 30$ for early check in. I also had a service dog. When I received my folio I was charged 50$ for early check in and 75$ for a pet. On top of that I was charged individual taxes not only for the room but the early check in and the pet fee. Rm suite tax, tourism tax, and tbid tax. All 3 different times. I had to call and ask for it to be removed but I do not understand why I was told 30$ to check in early and secretly charged 50$ I would have never known had I not asked for a copy of my receipt. Does this property make up whatever price they want for an early check in? I had never been charged for early check in at any other Hilton properties especially when the room is already ready. I traveled 2 hours and had a wedding in a hour to be at so I wasn’t going to argue about 30$ but I now am questioning how I was told one thing and charged another, or charged period of a room that was already ready. Also on Expedia it shows you the room price with all taxes included so why would I then get charged 3 other taxes after checking in? Very disappointed

Room phone didn’t work, called from personal phone to front desk, There are no pillows, bed sheets or the comforter set for the extra bed . When we asked, front desk people asked us to come and grab from the front office. Felt so rude . After room cleaning service, they too all the towels and left only one. Again same thing that we need to go to front desk and get it every time. Not at all happy with the services. Rooms are but outdated .

The room wasn’t terrible or gross, but definitely room for improvement. There wasn’t a shower curtain in the shower, the shower dripped nonstop, floor creaked in some spots, there was a loud bang like metal dropping after the AC turned off, and the worst was that the ceiling creaked and thudded when the people above me walked around. It was so loud it was hard to hear the TV. The furnishings were very worn, no pillows on the sofa also. I stay here for work because of location but may need to consider nearby hotels for a better night sleep.

Vanessa at the front desk was amazing and helpful.The food was great.The pool area and surroundings were clean. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful atmosphere. However, the pool was very cold. Hated the slamming gate doors all day and early morning, needs to be fixed

The room was tired, stains on carpet. Cheap plastic glasses, zero cutlery or anything to aid having a meal or snack in the room's kitchenette. Also, the faucet for the shower was not working. Once I set the shower temperature the dial handle kept dropping down and increasing the hot temperature. In a 5 to 6 minute shower I had to repeatedly reset the handle so as not to have burning hot water coming from the shower. The check in was seamelss and friendly. The breakfast was very good and hot.

First of all, We want to state that staff were fine. However, the property itself is old and needs a lot of attention. We had a ground floor room and the noise from occupants above disturbed our sleep. The ceiling creaked with their every step, and we wondered if there was some sort of structural problem. We also had problems with the television reception and found the afternoon reception to be the worst of any Embassy Suites in which we’ve ever stayed. To make a long story short, staff were unable to resolve these issues, so we checked out after 2 nights (of our original 7 night reservation.) To their credit, staff acknowledged that the hotel is an older property and waived parking fees and one night’s lodging charge.
