"I wanted to love this hotel but things did not go smoothly for us. We chose the Sofitel because of the pool. Upon checking in we found out the pool was closed! Maybe offer a free drink? Our room was extremely noisy, the adjoining room took a shower at 5AM and it sounded like a plane landing in our room. You could hear the doorbells from rooms surrounding us. The worst however was the unreliable wifi. I lost a business deal because the wifi wouldn’t connect at 7AM. One shining aspect of the hotel, the valet parking staff was AMAZING. Prompt and professional, they were rock stars!"

"Great little boutique hotel w/in walking distance to everything in WEHO, great staff, this is not a bad thing but just an esthetic/logistics note - in the bathroom there are no hooks or handles for hanging towels and what seemed like an empty space could have either used a table or a couch ... so the design of the room is well thought out but could use some things like towel hangers and maybe some fold up luggage chairs you typically see in hotels so you dont just leave your purses luggage on the floor. Other than that, loved the place, parking is good. Thanks for the stay!"

"Previously to arriving, they tried to charge my credit card for an amount above and beyond, after it clearly stated I wouldn’t be charged until I arrived. When I called to inquire about it, the staff member was extremely rude. Once I arrived, everything was fine and the staff or nice."

"Excellent Italian Pasta Restaurant nearby. Did not eat in hotel restaurant Coffee and tea on 2nd floor was lovely Only complaint is they never reached our room for cleaning until just before 5 which was when we were returning from our adventures of the day."

"It's in a revitalizing part of mid-Wilshire in Los Angeles. "Beverly Hills Adjacent" is more accurate. There are a lot of walkable restaurants and museums but the neighborhood isn't quite fully redeveloped, and there are a few homeless nearby that make it far from a Beverly Hills type of experience."
