"This was my family’s first time staying at Riu Palace Riviera Maya and we LOVED it! The staff was attentive, and all very nice. The food, for an all-inclusive, was great (I know a lot of people complain about the food at these places but you can’t expect Michelin quality food out of buffets). The entire property was beautiful and loved that we could walk around the Playacar area totally safe. Highly recommend! "

"Love this resort!! The beach is great can snorkel with sea turtles right in front of the palace. The pools are amazing the rooms are very big great for a family of four. The food at the restaurants and buffet were excellent. Wish they wouldn’t have trimmed all the Palm trees at the palace so there was more shade like the rest of the beach. I would definitely return here "

"Overall good value for the money, but the management gave up on the beach upkeep. Seaweed is a known problem in Mexico but in most places hotel at least tries to clean it up. We were hoping to spend some time on the beach but were quite disappointed. Also, Palace Elite is VERY pushy in offering their membership, which completely smashed our desire to come back to any Palace hotels. "

"They were great! They did a special wine delivery to our room when I told them that it was my wife's birthday...we came back from the beach, and there was a bottle of wine in the room. Bordeoux sang to my wife during dinner...we loved it. On our final day though, my wife got a stomach ache, so I went down to Market Cafe to get her a sandwich, but the manager there didn't let me get it...that's the only reason why I'm giving 4-stars; otherwise, I wanted to give you guys a perfect 5! Thank you!"
