"The lodging was perfect for our stay. It was in close proximity to a great market and the Breachway. Check in was very easy, the room was very clean and had plenty of sets of towels and derivatives. Comfortable small room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Happy staff....happy customer. Good luck with the beautiful renovations!"

"The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. "

"When I checked in there were dirty, used, stained bedding with hairs and makeup on sheets. I asked to have them changed and front desk said the housekeeping were notified and would be changing them. 2nd night same sheets on the bed, dirty unsanitary sheets still on the bed. I notified front desk again and that was the only thing I got sorry."

"The property was quaint, had history and was well located to town. Parking was free and convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean. Breakfast was diverse and of quality. What I didn't like was the obvious wear. Walls had dings. Wallpaper was torn. Furniture was old and interesting but faded and tired. We still enjoyed our stay and we would stay again."

"The location was about 15 minutes out of Newport. We had to Uber everywhere as there was no parking in the town. (Approx $15 per ride.) The property was well kept as well as our room and the lobby. I felt that there were a few missing amenities but overall I would recommend this hotel."
