"If I could give zero stars I would. The room was not even in the main hallway, it was outside the main hall down a corridor. Clearly it had been a storage closet at some point that they made into an extra room and it felt like it. No outlet in the bathroom “for safety readons” and the only outlet was between the beds nowhere near the vanity. "I arrived to my room on a sunny day to find a broken fan. I quickly called reception but proceeded to sweat for 30 mins as I kept waiting and calling for a replacement. Later, it took almost two hours to receive a iron once again after repeated asks. Then, on both Saturday and Sunday mornings I was woken up by the housekeeping with a knock on the door to clean the room at 9am. The hotel uses single use plastics and provided body wash containers which were way too small. Breakfast was inedible....

"It's not much to look at from the outside with steps up to the narrow door which made carrying large heavy luggage a challenge but we were quickly greeted by a very helpful staff member who assumed all luggage duties. This is a small but beautifully decorated town house with a small elevator, which was handy as i was so tired from a long drive. "There was confusion regarding check in as they don't have a front desk. Was unsure how to access the unit until the moment we arrived. Had to ring a doorbell and an employee came. They then give you codes to get in. Not sure what would happen after hours or late on weekends as I don't think anyone is there. Other than that the neighborhood is good and safe. The unit was very clean but very basic. Could have used a coffee table. The roll out "bed" was horrible though. It more of a roll out chair....

"Extreme climb in very hot weather to get into the apartment in 90 degree heat. This apartment would be very challenging for some older renters, but all else was fine. Great deck (cool in the intense heat - nice!) and all else very professional. Excellent location."

"The good news: this hotel is in a great location near Hyde Park and Notting Hill, and the outside of the property looks nice. Now for the bad: the lobby smells of cheap perfume, it has no English charm (or staff) and my room was so small that it was like a coffin. Truly the smallest room I have ever stayed in (and I have been to 48 countries). Certainly not worth the 200 quid!"
