"As soon as we checked into our room there was a knock on our door and a staff member came in and made up the extra bed. Everyone is so friendly and the food in the restaurant is excellent. This makes for a great stay especially when you’re weary travelers."

"It’s was clean. The door to the shower was off the top hinge and wouldn’t close properly. The pillows were very uncomfortable and no clear instructions on turning on lights and AC. We didn’t know you have to keep your card in a slot to have it turn on. We were also charged 10 Euros upon departure for a city tax when I paid for the room and taxes on Expedia "

"Our stay at La Lira was wonderful. The young gentleman who assisted us was exceptionally kind and helpful. He waited for us even after check-in hours, explained everything clearly, helped us arrange our taxi for next day flight, and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this hotel."

"This guest house is located very close to the FCO airport, and they offer a shuttle in the morning for a reasonable price that we were able to take at 6am. The staff is very kind and the room was lovely and very spacious. We even had our own front yard with our room, which was a pleasant surprise. The guest house is near Ostia Antica if you are interested in archaeological sites. It is also very close to the beach if the weather is nice. There are lots of great seafood restaurants nearby. "

"The room is spotless, the staff was wonderful, it is central relocated where you can have restaurants I would not hesitate to return. The only negative I can say is that is rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator that is something that I would have liked to know but this is a wonderful place and I’m happy that I stayed here. The bed was super comfortable as well"
