"This hotel gets an A+ for location. Within walking distance to catch the Hop On Hop Off Bus and see a lot of sights such as Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Ben Franklin's Print Shop and the Betsy Ross House. Also within walking distance of places to eat and drink. Parking was under $50 for one night in a covered garage, and we were able to leave our car until 5 the day we checked out, which was a big help. Check-in Staff was excellent and very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The only complaint is that the blackout curtain was old and needed replaced. It had coffee/tea service, a mini frig and a microwave. We did not eat in the restaurant but we did have a drink in the bar. Another complaint was that it closed early that night because the bartender said she was tired? Not sure what that was about... There is a small rooftop pool as well. Overall, a nice hotel and we would stay again."

"We had an excellent stay. This property has a staff that was extremely helpful and so pleasant. Every staff member we encountered was friendly. Rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is ok, there are hot and cold items although the same breakfast was served every day."

"Room was very nicely kept. The only issue was we arrived last at night, I had called prior to be able to check in late. We got in late and while in bed someone else opened our room door. Thankfully my husband was with me but still scary. It was about 1-2am. When we hear the door unlock and someone say “oh there’s people in here”"

"Conveniently located near all of the historic sites. The staff was the best I have ever experienced. They went out of their way to make certain our stay was enjoyable and asked if we needed anything on multiple occasions as we crossed by the lobby area. Very nice breakfast that certainly helped start the day, including fruit that could be taken for a snack too. Floors within room was luxury vinyl planks that made the room seem extra clean. I highly recommend this hotel."

"First impression was that it was an older hotel but lobby and rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was ideal. 7 min walk to Reading market. 4 minute walk to subway system. Within 15- 20 minute walk you can find lots of great restaurants and bars. I like that there was a small bar (literally 4 chairs and around a small wooden bar and several other seats) available inside the hotel where my son and I enjoyed a nightcap. There were 3 elevators and rarely did I wait longer than 30 seconds even though I stayed over a weekend. Staff was friendly and courteous. Andrew was particularly kind and attentive...but all clerks and each concierge were awesome. The room had a nice air conditioner that kept room very cool (thermostatcontrolled) . I loved that each queen bed had 4 large pillows. Bed was very comfortable...not to soft. Bathroom shower head was newer and I feel bathroom in general had been renovated in past year or 2. Breakfast was very satisfactory. No complaints... dark coffee was good, not bitter but full of flavor. My only complaint was that I asked the front desk (after staying three nights) to send someone in to clean the room...it didn't happen before we left the next day. I did receive towels and washcloths when requested without any delay so that was nice. In conclusion I would recommend this hotel based on its convenient location, friendly staff, and clean comfortable rooms at the price point offered. Definitely a good value and a pleasant stay."
