The apartment was great, good size and walking distance to the beach and Quinta Ave. However, I’m generally not one to complain and I’ve lived here in Mexico before so I know there can be issues with power etc. but when I arrived the elevator was not working and I was told it was just for that night. So I carried my all bags upstairs myself, no offer to help from the people working. I got to the room and the blinds are down and broken so I couldn’t roll them up and the toilet didn’t flush properly. (They did send someone quickly the next day to fix it after I complained so that was nice) Then I went to leave around 9pm to get groceries and was informed that “when I get back there will be no power in the common areas and no water in my unit from 10pm- 8am but only for today” Long story short after 4 days “today” never came and after 4 days of no elevator, no power on the stairs and hallways after 10pm and no water every night to shower or flush the toilet I left. Expedia was amazing at switching me to another hotel where the stay was really great.

The location is great, close to the beach and shops. Unfortunately, that’s the only positive. At the very beginning of our stay, the elevator stopped working. When we checked in, there was no hot water, and the towels had holes in them. The next day the hot water was fixed, but the day after that all water disappeared completely — both hot and cold — throughout the entire building. There was no possibility to use the toilet, wash hands, or shower. When we asked when the water would be restored, the staff could not give any answer. This situation lasted for three days, and we were forced to look for new accommodation. At the end of our vacation, we met other guests who were still staying there, and they told us that water was only available on a scheduled basis. The staff suggested using water from the pool to use the toilets; however, one pool is located on the ground floor and the other on the 6th floor.

Beautiful property if maintenance was kept up. Black mold growing on the walls in the bathroom and storage room, fingerprints, dirt runs, and food spots on the walls from guests before. Kiled several alive cocaroches running in the room. Housekeeping does not clean dirt off the walls. Pools need better maintenance. Stove keep shutting off every few min. The unit was stripped yo bare minimum, i requested sheets for sofa, blankets, coffeemaker, pool towels, amenities fir 3rd guest all one week before arriving, was assured by host it will be in my room but non of that was in my room. I was texting next 3 days to get things that was supposed to be in the room and by request. Very frustrated. Very disappointed, tried calling but they do not speak English, could not get sheets or blankets to sleep untill next day. No coffeemaker for 2 days, not enough kitchen plates, cups, one knife that was completely broken. Skillet tfall completely burned, impossible to cook, because it burns everything. Was begging for towels for 3 days. Never got bath towel for 3rd guest.

Considero que Musa del Carmen tiene potencial para ser GENIAL, pero destacan varios detalles a mejorar en el Gallery Apartment (que fue la habitación que escogí con altas expeectativas). Puntos clave de mejora: Seguridad: La cerradura de la puerta se percibe débil y la habitación carece de Smart Lock, a diferencia de otras al caminar por el pasillo. Cocina: El refrigerador presentaba olor a comida. Se sugiere añadir una freidora de aire. El jabón o la esponja para fregar platos tenía un olor desagradable. Baño: La trampa de malos olores estaba mal posicionada, causando que el olor regresara por el lavamanos (no se pudo reparar debido al horario de mantenimiento). Además, la tapa del inodoro estaba floja y el dispensador de jabón de baño no funcionaba. Recámara: La pared necesitaba retoque de pintura donde estaba el AC anterior. Las patas de la cama son un riesgo de golpe recurrente. No trae duvet ni colcha la cama. Solo una sabana sencilla. La cortina solo puede estar toda abierta o todo cerrada. Son cortinas tipo roller, que presentan daños que al colocar la cortina a media asta, se deja caer sola hasta el suelo. La ubicación es MUY BUENA! A pasos de TODO! El personal MUY ATENTO y MUY AMABLES TODOS LOS TURNOS. Cuenta con estacionamientos que aunque angostos, respetando los espacios, caben bien. Nunca estacione afuera en 6 noches y TE DAN TARJETA Se aprecia la lavadora (aunque requiere limpieza!). Repito: El Condo presenta oportunidades para ser ESPECTACULAR.

My stay at this property was amazing! It’s just a few blocks from the beach, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and friendly. They responded promptly to any questions we had. My family and I especially enjoyed the pool and the variety of amenities. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely book again!

Our room had no bathing towels and no blankets for the bed. Only towels for the pools. It did have most kitchen items. There were stains on the couch and it was dirty. You could see through the loose poorly fitted front door knob.. There was nice friendly staff and security at the front door and it is only a few blocks away from 5th Avenue and the beach. Also a convince store in the corner of the building. Overall i give this a 2.8 rating

Great service. Place clean but needs a deep clean. Microwave need to be situated somewhere else. Safe needs to be fixed. Rug has to go. No need in a warm place like Playa. It would be better if the occupier can create their own entry code. Also, you should provide free access to the main entrance. Thank you!

The apartment is very nice, comfortable and at a good price. It is a quiet area even though it is close to Fifth Avenue. The building staff is very friendly. 3 things that could be improved: Bad smell in the bathroom pipes, the towels were worn and torn, and there was not enough toilet paper.

Mi estancia fue por 13 dias, lamentablemente no pude hacer la cancelación anticipada de la reservacion. El descanso en el lugar no fue agradable, ya que el colchon de la cama esta en malas condiciones, al igual que las almohadas, por lo que molesta bastante dormir ahi y el descanso no es apropiado. Solo nos brindaron un par de toallas, y hay que considerar llevar todo los articulos de limpieza ya que no hay papel, jabon, ni lo necesario para poder hacer limpieza (como escoba y trapeador). El departamento esta en buen estado, lo rescatable del lugar son las albercas que se encuentran en el ultimo piso.
