"Check in was very informative. They gave us all the info we needed. Since check in was at a different location they provided us with a ride on a golf cart. The place was amazing. They had 2 pools but one was under renovations. The elevator was out of service the whole time we were there and we never saw anyone ever work on it. Security was always at their post so very safe. "Beautiful condo. Very clean and well maintained. Secure parking garage and entrance to condos. Friendly easy check in. Walking distance from the beach and 5a. Near the parties at night, but noise was not a problem. Breakfast on the beach was $20 coupon from the hotel but better to order separate at the restaurant if you don’t need juice and coffee and bread. "

"We had a series of unfortunate events: our electricity went completely out in our rooms. We had electricity twice during the day for 15 minutes each time. We had no way to watch TV, turn the air on or charge our phones. I understand things can happen but management did not attempt at anytime to compensate us for our inconveniences. They finally moved us to another room at 9:30pm but the new rooms had no internet. We went back to our original rooms.the next day once the problem was resolved....

"I enjoyed a wonderful 4 night vacation here at Posada Mariposa in Playacar! Everything was fine, nothing could have been better, just perfect stay with no problems, right on Quinta Avenida! I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel and nice team of people, for everyone looking for a boutique bargain hotel and enjoyable vacation in PDC! I'm so very glad I chose the Mariposa! "We stayed at the casitas last summer and enjoyed our stay. We stayed at Royal this time and didn’t have as good of an experience. They didn’t tell us where our room was so we had to figure out the wifi and find a map while standing in the heat. Our toilet kept messing up and wouldn’t flush. They fixed it once but that only lasted a few flushes. The bracelet to open my room wouldn’t work. They fixed it but it only worked one time. Luckily my husbands bracelet worked. They didn’t restock the beers...
