"Overall this was a great trip and I highly recommend upgrading yourself to having a butler. We did so and Alan was beyond tremendous for us!
The resort and rooms are clean, nice and well kept. This is all about what I would expect from a DR all inclusive. The food was mid, but fime. The drinks were ok and there was no trouble getting served ever. But if you have specific preferences, particularly bourbon, you'll be disappointed.
Overall great stay for the cost. Just don't set you're overall...

"Upon arriving at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent condition of our room. It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. "The property is beautiful and massive. The pools are spotless and our room was among the best I’ve stayed in. The staff was professional and friendly. We were in the preferred section but only heard from our butler once-no biggie. We didn’t need him.
The food was adequate-typical of resorts. We were there in early May and it was quiet so only a few restaurants were open each night. It was fine.
