Village Green, Woodcote: A rustic view, but still within the London Borough of Croydon. Woodcote is a posh suburb laid out by William Webb in 1901-20. Very large houses, though not particularly architecturally distinguished. Webb's idea was that gardens be designed first as "...the house is but the complement of the garden..."

Rotary Field, Purley The field is open to the public, and is used as a fairground periodically, and also for firework displays. The course of the primitive Croydon, Merstham and Godstone Railway, a public horse-drawn railway, crosses the field about half-way up, (where the line of trees is seen).
Fountain in Rotary Field, Purley. This structure is at the southern corner of Rotary Field 933405 and records the opening of the park in 1925. It has been alleged that it is the original Victorian font of nearby Christ Church 1314672 but there is no Christian motif on it, and the style is closer to that of public drinking fountains in other London parks.

Honestly a very large room for London. Not much of a view from my room but a good trade off as it made the room very quiet at night. Having access to a small kitchen was really nice. 24/7 front desk and they were all really friendly
