"We stayed here in the past, but this time it was pretty bad. First, checking in, the woman was not friendly, a bit curt. 2. The worst was the noisy bed- it made so much noise with every move, and it was pretty uncomfortable. 3. It is false advertising that there is free breakfast, nothing like we are used to every where in the US. No decaf coffee, no juices, no yogurt, no toast, no hot food except oatmeal, and the advertised sweets, was one small cake that all guests had to cut up, not sanitary...

"This was our second stay when passing thru San Simeon , such a wonderful affordable place to stop at for the night or more. We especially enjoy the location which is almost on the shore, easy parking, and love our evening walks around the grounds. "The motel was a good location. 5 mins away from Hearst Castle. It looked like it was semi remodeled recently but it was cheaply done as you could see holes/patches. The bed was moderately comfortable not to firm but not as soft as I personally prefer. Bathroom cramped and they didnt have body wash only tiny soap bars that broke apart easily. No one answers the phone so the 3 things I needed help with I had to go out my room and go get myself, was not happy about that. Never got the room cleaned...

"This is my 2nd year here for our annual family vacation to San Simeon. We love this motel! The staff is incredibly friendly and so happy to see and help you. They give you mini cars and chocolate chip cookies when you arrive. We were in a family room this year with 2 queens and a murphy bed. Very spacious! "This is a great place to stay, especially if you have a family. There is a beautiful front lawn with a gazebo, fire pits and lawn chairs, lots of room to spread out. There’s a nice pool away from the lawn, a game room with shuffleboard , foozball , etc. There are trails to walk, it’s away from all the ‘busy ‘ of Moonstone beach, but has easy walking access to it The rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable and everything is nicely appointed with a ranch theme.
