"I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "

"Very disappointed that Blue Badge holders were forbidden to use the disabled parking spaces , as they were reserved for able body conference attendees. Doesn't the government have legislation on this?? We have stayed in a number of hotels in Harrogate, and this is our favourite ( so far)."

"We were unlucky enough to be staying on the hottest weekend of the year. The Yorkshire is an old and apparently a listed building so there is no air conditioning and boy did we need it checking into the hotel in the middle of a record breaking heatwave with temperatures of 35oC. Amazingly, the hotel seemed to have gone out of their way to make matters even worse: - on the sun facing side of the hotel, the windows in our room were open and the curtains drawn back - there was a barely functional...
