"Very noisy with each room having fire doors that slammed all night behind guests going to and from their rooms. No soundproofing from within the hotel, so could here people passing in the hallway. Little sleep had.
There appeared to be what looked like cigarette ash in the shower, with the room also looking a bit dated and run down.
On the plus side, very nice staff."

"Approx 12 min walk to Hippodrome theatre.
Staff are excellent, helpful and polite.
We parked there £20 per day. Used electric charger but it did cut out before it should have - fortunately we had enough for our journey."

"Nice location and decent hotel.
Positives were the location and the breakfast was good.
Negatives lots of ongoing roadworks There was an extremely unpleasant smell in the corridors on floor 4. The superior room was very basic with saloon style doors on the bathroom which didnt give a great deal of privacy and when the light was on this lit up the room. Small dated television and very little storage in the room."

"It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-(
We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer.
Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast.

"Had a great stay here on a Sunday night. The weather was great so we were able to sit on the terrace.
There was both a wedding and a family party during our one night stay which took up a lot of the outdoor space but we did manage to find some seating.

"Ok, so this is one of the cheapest hotels in or around Bath. It’s clean and the breakfast is fine for the price. I have seen some reviewers complain about the variety but seriously what do you expect at this price. Our room was ok but very very warm. Location is great and with a bit of investment could be upgraded a few levels but then again so would the price. Uber was approximately £10 to Bath City Centre. "For the grandeur of the hotel, the breakfast was not the best for the money self service with tinned mushrooms and the sausages not the best, plus not very hot. And another thing is they charge for parking, a hotel situated away from any means of getting there other than by car with plenty of land you should not be charged to park at £13.50 a day when simular hotels at the same rates do not charge. It is a very nice art deco looking place with a lovely spar and pool."
