"The property was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a couple of observations . If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . "The total has good amenities and a good gym. The food was ok. The hotel was let down by poor and inconsistent service. We were told that tables in the restaurant could not be booked in advance as that evening England were playing. This was confirmed by the person on reception, only to find that nearly all the tables has indeed been reserved when we went down to the restaurant with some of them standing empty for hours until the football started.
