So apparently a hotel can mislead and put you in a filthy room and there's no recourse. I would NEVER book here!"

"Scandia is a great place. The people who run it are fun and nice! I always sleep well on the mattress there and I have a spine issue which is saying a lot. The location offers easy access to the village, neighboring Oceanside and the freeways about 2 miles away. The venue is next to a preparatory school which has a lovely campus with old trees. "Our room smelled like food when we walked in, it looked like they might have been trying to air it out because the windows were open. There was weird hair stuck to the bathroom ceiling. The bedsheets had a bad smell, thankfully we brought our own. It was just an uncomfortable experience, thankfully we were only there for a couple of hours."

"This hotel didn't have anything as stated in their description. The tub leaked, the bathroom facet was loose, and we had to ask for tools and shampoo. Our feet were black from walking on the floor. To get clean towels we had to give them towels to get clean ones. The pool is under repair and not available."
