Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing family vacation at the Grand Palladium Kantenah. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and always willing to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The Family Selection was definitely worth it. The exclusive pool and beach areas were never overcrowded, and the assign management service made restaurant reservations and anything else we needed quick and easy. There were plenty of activities for kids, so our family was always entertained. The food offered a great variety, with several restaurants to choose from, and the buffets always had something for everyone. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and cleaned daily. Overall, this is an excellent resort for families looking to relax while keeping the kids entertained. We made great memories and would definitely return. Highly recommend!"

Barceló Maya Riviera - Adults Only - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Overall, our experience at Barcelo was good. The restaurants were great, the resort is stunning, very clean, etc. However, there are things that could be worked on that could make it better. I did feel like the service could’ve been a bit better. Normally at other hotels we stayed at in Cancun the servers working the pool area constantly asked how they can help you. During our stay here we got asked about twice. Also, normally at other stays when they drop off the luggage in your room, the person usually explains the room amenities to you, that didn’t happen here. Other little things like that. Breakfast buffet variety could be better, also they close at 6pm while the other buffets at the other hotels close later, so if you were looking for a evening snack you would have to go to another hotel. The lobby bar could be better in the sense that they could offer more in my opinion. All in all, Barcelo is a beautiful resort, it is like it’s own little town there, since they offer a lot for guests to do in terms of experiences."

Barceló Maya Colonial - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Great variety, but restaurant booking and shuttle tracking need work The staff here were very helpful and truly tried their best, though the language barrier made communication a bit challenging at times. A huge plus for us was having access to the other restaurants and buffets within the Barceló group, and booking activities like water sports or a slot at the tennis and racquetball courts was incredibly easy. However, the reservation system for the à la carte restaurants definitely needs improvement. They are always fully booked by the time you check in, leaving you to just hope for a last-minute cancellation. We managed to eat at Marenostrum, but the service was incredibly slow—likely due to kitchen bottlenecks rather than the waitstaff. Lastly, it would be a massive help if the resort shuttle had a real-time GPS tracker. We ended up waiting over 30 minutes not knowing when or where the shuttle would show up. In that heat, we actually could have walked to our destination sooner if we had just known the status. Overall, a nice stay with great options, but the dining and transportation logistics could be smoother!"

"Best Resort I have seen in my life. Excellent service, lots of fun and entertainment. Foods of high quality."

Catalonia Royal Tulum Adults Only - All Inclusive

"July 10-17. My partner and I went to this resort and we want to return immediately! We chose this resort specifically because it was embedded in nature- we saw monkeys, coatis, lizards, iguanas, fish, birds etc! Pioquinto continuously kept our room fresh with replenishing towels, snacks and waters in our fridge. We dipped our toes in the ocean but didn’t swim due to nature’s sargassum. The beach staff were continuously cleaning as again this is nature’s doing and not the resort’s! We chose to spend our time in the pool which was so spacious and each day the staff would invite the guests to play all kinds of games. Regarding the food: each restaurant was fabulous and delicious! Our favourite was Tao Cat (this is where we saw a monkey over us!). Viviana was the queen bee for making the most delicious omelettes ever! Regarding booking reservations for dinners: it was so simple to do- do not let this sway based on other reviews, so simple and multiple times for all of the restaurants. Huge shout out to Quetzabel who was the hostess for the breakfast and lunch buffet- she knew everyone’s names and was the sweetest. The entertainment nights and team was amazing! Shout out to Cuellar, Diego, Leo, Pau and Ed - the most fun, caring, funny team!"

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"I've stayed at different resorts all over the Cancun area. If you're wanting a resort for attention to detail and personal service and excellence, this is your resort. Each building has its own personal concierge waiting to help you with anything that you need. Check in was effortless. Entertainment was unique and fun. Food was outstanding. What particularly stood out to me with the food, especially at buffet's, was that during outdoor events everything was covered. Restaurant dining was delicious. Do not miss the french bistro called Bordeaux. It was a dining experience trying both unique foods as well as familiars like surf and turf. The beach generally had a lot of sargasm, but in the morning it was definitely beautiful, clear and clean, so if you're doing anything involving the water, I would suggest going early in the morning at 8 o'clock. In the evening is when the beach tends to get worse, but overall, they keep it clean. If you walk down the beach and find somebody with a blue shirt, ask about a personal private boat tour out to see the turtles and snorkel. $45 pp was cheaper than going out with a big group. They led us all around and we didn't have to do any work, but watch everything underneath! The relaxing pool, it's very nice plus they have a ping pong table. Also, walk down the beach and go out by the dive center to the little town of akumul. Not too big, but they may have souvenirs less expensive. This was a trip to remember! Have fun and remember to relax!"
