"The resort is located about an hour from Cancun airport. We dealt with Lomas Hospitality in booking. They are fntstic..on top of everything at the resort including your transportation. "My stay at Shibari was wonderful! Staff were very professional, attentive & courteous. Check-in process was simple. They were able to check me in early. The room floor seemed like it wasn’t cleaned that well but the room and view was so beautiful it took the focus away from it. The cenote and restaurant area were amazing. "Truly enjoyed the Fairmont. Beautiful property, great food at the pool restaurant. Friendly staff there as well. One big frustration was the totally unreliable staff at the reception/golf cart transportation on site: several times we were told: a driver is on the way, will be there or told by a driver “justifying around there back in a minute” without anyone ever showing up afterwards. "The first thing you will notice is the awful smell, the beach has so much seaweed it smells of fish. The beach is small and filled with seaweed, so not pleasant at all. It's a busy beach, with lots of local people. Thankfully there is a decent amount of seating on the resort side of the rope.
