"I recently stayed at Occidental Xcaret and unfortunately left disappointed. One of the biggest issues was the amount of bugs around the resort. I was bitten by an ant, which was extremely painful. To be fair, the staff was very kind and assisted me right away, which I appreciated. The resort grounds are beautiful, but I noticed bugs everywhere and many of the pools had leaves and debris floating in them, making them feel poorly maintained at times. "Staff unfriendly at check in. Most places were not open. All rooms were rented had issues, chili g smoke detectors, that took two days to fix, broken phone, toilet and shower. Room decor for birthdays were not done, mine said happy honeymoon and I came solo. Just overall very dissatisfied with this resort. They need customer service help."

They asked to put the breakers back on. Then the air conditioning in one of the bedroom (where my daughter and her 2 girls were sleeping) wasn't working.
