"We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

"We stayed at the casitas last summer and enjoyed our stay. We stayed at Royal this time and didn’t have as good of an experience. They didn’t tell us where our room was so we had to figure out the wifi and find a map while standing in the heat. Our toilet kept messing up and wouldn’t flush. They fixed it once but that only lasted a few flushes. The bracelet to open my room wouldn’t work. They fixed it but it only worked one time. Luckily my husbands bracelet worked. They didn’t restock the beers...

"Biggest problem is that it’s in the middle of nowhere so unless you know for sure you’re there for the wakeboarding, I would not stay there. Other than that the room was pretty ample and nice. Food was fine."

"Room was very clean. Very family friendly staff. Lack of safety door outside our room to our swim out pool area was a safety concern for small children. The pool tile areas needed updating. The greenery areas could use some sproucing up. All staff were excellennt. Food in all areas were sub par, left a lot to be desired. Most hot food in main buffet was cold. There was a lack of hot vegetables at both lunch and dinner. Omelet bar was excellent at breakfast."
