Hotel murah di Rookley

"We had a lovely stay at the chequers Inn, Rookley. The staff were great, couldn't do enough for us."

"The rooms were large and clean. Only body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. No hair conditioner. No real cupboard, just a few hangers in a sort of cupboard. There was an iron and an ironing board. Breakfast was okay for us, we don't eat all the food there was served (buffet breakfast). They had snacks so we had a pizza. The receptionists were excellent, so helpful. Also the waiters in the dining room were very helpful. It's a good place for one night before a flight or a cruise."

"Hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were fine, with enough space and necessary facilities. We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating - we needed some breakfasts to take away for some of our party who were out running during breakfast service. "This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!"

"Most things okay, but as is too often the case, the secure cycle storage requested and confirmed in the booking stage didn't exist! Really not happy leaving an irreplaceable bespoke bicycle in the cleaner's room!"

"Overall a good location, friendly staff. I did find the bed and pillow a little too firm for my liking and the comforter far too heavy. We simply removed it and only used the cover."

"It was a very mixed stay, although overall it was positive. The first room we were given was very dirty. The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). The room was very hot and the window didn't open - no air conditioning either. It was quite small and cramped. Premier inn would have been a lot better. "A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

"The room and hotel was very very clean. I came during the heatwave so the room was very hot although a fan was provided. The breakfast was top notch, with options provided for all dietary requirements. Very impressed."

"A very lovely, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant food was great. À la carte breakfast was also very good but there was no fruit offered which I was disappointed with. Times were also a little tight from breakfast, dinner, room cleaning and checkout but it was a small hotel so this is understandable. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou."

"Location excellent for attractions. Reception was nice and a bit quirky. Room was a bit bland although recently refurbished. Breakfast was adequate. Air conditioning in the room would have been nice, a fan was provided. If the temperature had been any warmer it could have been a problem. We managed to get free parking at the front of the hotel which was a bonus, spaces were limited."

"So extreme heat was the bug bear They were unable to cope air conditioning was not working making the stay unbearable Staff tho really could not be more honest Its not the fault of them at all Room was basic Lots of silly things a miss ,but clean and staff great A new lad was on the bar bless him in all the heat he pulled the best pint and topped it up so pleasant . Breakfast was nice ..however staff there on the tables were miserable :("

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"A good hotel with helpful staff. Breakfast buffet good. Crazy practice of charging hotel guests to park but that seems to be a growing trend. Be honest and include the charge in the hotel costs instead of hiding additional costs."
