We gebruikten het hotel als uitvalsbasis om San Francisco te bezoeken, overigens is Oakland zelf ook je bezoek meer dan waard. "Actually loved staying here, I always stay at the Marriott and the cost was like 250 more than a standard room here AND you get to contribute to local business owners that actually care about your experience. The vibe of the entire building was so cool and the layout and décor is stunning. Liquor store within walking distance for random amenities you might not find at the hotel late night and its close to everything downtown. Great experience and looking forward to staying again. "This was a great clean, safe property, with great staff, and amenities. Very aesthetically pleasing, with a classy look and great art. The down side is the $55 a night valet parking fee which is high but worth it, if you value your automobile, and your safety. Also, the valet staff lost my leather key fob cover, which I hope will be brought up as a teaching moment in their next staff meeting. Attention to details when dealing with car keys is needed."

"Room was super spacious and clean. Hotel is conveniently located near BART station and the Chinese food options nearby are amazing. I would stay here again for sure!!"

"The issue for me was the safety rating. I got there at night and the cops were there. Like a lot of them blocking off a lot of the parking lot. It's set in a beautiful place along a body of water. And the bathroom in my room smelled heavily like cigarettes even though it was non smoking and the hallway like pot. ( first floor) frustrating when you're traveling with kids"

"It was frustrating. I had two main things I wanted to do: get some work done and watch the World Cup. The Wi-Fi was atrocious and I had to use my cell service, which was also pretty bad though not their fault. The TV kept needing to be logged in or would switch inputs or just stopped working. And then even though it was off, the TV turned on in the middle of the night, a bright white shining light, like a beacon for ships from Hawaii to find their way to the hotel. It made no sense. "The rooms was very small with a tiny windows facing the wall. The parking was ok. Sometimes you will see the same person sitting in their car all day in the parking lot kinda sketchy. The staff was nice."
