"There are no on site staff. I booked a king room but upon check was informed by a “virtual check in agent” at a computerized kiosk that no king rooms were available but they could offer me two queen rooms as an “upgrade.” The “virtual” agent had a poor understanding of English. She could not understand why I did not want two rooms instead of 1. It was a bizarre experience and quite frustrating."

"The general areas were not clean, the other travellers left the kitchen and washrooms dirty and male hair in the bathroom drain. The water pressure is not ideal if you’re looking to get a nice shower. There is an odour in the hallways. The redeeming quality is the bed that was cozy. "

"The staff was so friendly and helpful. Great location for easily catching a lift or meeting a tour. The surrounding area has a ton of walkable restaurants and coffee shops. It was also quiet. Couldnt hear any of our neighbors."

"The hotel itself was PERFECT! Location is a bit off but did walk from there to the Hayes neighborhood at night from there and was a very nice walk to and from. Short drive to many locations. Would stay there again on a return visit. Staff was exceptional and the roof top bar was a perfect way to start or end your evening."

"Hotel Fiona is a great hotel, location was great, the breakfast in the morning was tasty (quiche, Danish, and other sweets), the parking was great, the garage was very clean, staff were very helpful, the only issue was the bathroom light would turn on in the night, not sure if the sensor was picking up air coming from the vent and causing the light to come on, but otherwise everything was great, short walk to Union Square (0.6Mi), seemed safe, would definitely stay again."

"A little noisy 9-10 o’clock out in the 4th floor hallway. I had to check our door 3-4 times as I thought someone was trying to break-in. Nothing seen. May have been a guest in & out of their room not being considerate of others."

"The whole reason I booked this hotel was because of the swimming pool, and I have not got to use it once because it was down, it would have been nice to get a heads app that the pool wasn't even available for use. I feel like I wasted a whole three thousand dollars.I even upgraded my room when I got here.But it seemed to be a waste of time and money"
