"The hotel is lovely. Many of the high ceilings are frescoed and the floors are marble. Although our room was not large it was well appointed and luxurious w upholstered wall and fine lenin sheets. Our room was ver quiet as well. The location for the hotel is perfect! "

"I have traveled to Bologna on quite a few occasions over the past 40 years....and this is the one place I can't imagine not staying at next time I visit. Historic building, beautiful views, lovely accommodations, wonderfully located, delicious breakfast - and most of all, a truly special host. One caveat, there are stairs (though the owner will take care of baggage), so if you are mobility restricted, you would need to take that into consideration."

"The room we had was very good and met our expectations in terms of size and cleanliness. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very close to the centre of town and all the main attractions. The only negative comments we would make is that the housemaid’s replacement of coffee capsules, tea etc was inconsistent. However, later that evening when we returned from dinner the room felt quite stuffy and hot and we specifically booked this place because it mentioned air conditioning and a fan in the room.
