"Extremely poor communication "

"Room was average for the price paid but overall looked tired. Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls. Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires. In the evenings the pub downstairs is busy with a lot of noise heard upstairs until about midnight. "

"Room was basic but functional. It lived up to my expectations. Ideal for an overnight stay. Shower was warm and practical."

"We stayed here for one night, half board. The location is fantastic, with amazing views and a short walk to the lakeside. We enjoyed both meals very much, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bars and restaurants were nicely furnished and clean, and our room was a good size. We had a lovely weekend break and would definitely stay here again."

"Amazing cooked to order breakfasts! Loads of choices. Warm and friendly welcome from Rich and Ada. They gave great suggestions on places to visit. Room was comfortable with everything you needed for a short break in a convenient location to explore that part of the Lake District. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The free access to the local spa was a lovely bonus after all the walking! Would highly recommend and would gladly visit again."

"Luxurious comfy apartment in the heart of the delightful small town. Fully equipped with everything youll need. Never any trouble parking directly opposite the property, though it was outside of peak period. My only complaint is local takeaways not staying open long enough. "
