"The staff was very helpful, Gary on reception was amazing and was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and gave great advice on things to do. The breakfast was alright and the bar area was very good and the barman was kind and very attentive. Good food and drink in the bar. My room was very clean and well done to the cleaners for their part in it. The room was a little bit smaller than the photos but a beautiful view of the bay/port. There was a slight watery sound when I was trying to...

"A great find. Staff are very friendly and professional at the same time. Food is excellent both lunchtime and dinner. Our room was very good and the amenities are very good. Spa was excellent value and friendly so no complaints at all."

"The towels in the room were stained and there were makeup marks on the soap dispenser. Also marks on the chair and floor. I don’t think that room was cleaned well."

"Breakfast selection was standard for a HI express. Unfortunately in this hotels case, all of the bread, and especially the bread rolls were too stale to have eaten. Eating in the restaurant in the evening was a very slow process. Over 45 minutes to receive any food. Some people waited over an hour. Room was not particularly clean, debris on the carpet, and a general feeling of rushed housekeeping. Found a child’s teddy bear under the bed, and the staff couldn’t have seemed less bothered....

Once we found the parking garage, the hotel paid for parking. The hotel was very close to the cathedral and shopping."

"Breakfast was great. Hot, served fast and flexible. The staff in the restaurant were great. Compliments to the chef. The only thing we found was a difficulty with the television. You had to stand right in front of it and hold the 'on button for about 30 seconds before it would come on. Also, it was difficult to change channels, especially getting to number 1. It wiould have been nice to have instructions if that is normal and a list of channels available. "

"Very nice staff, delicious breakfast. Had trouble finding plates, cups and glasses at breakfast but that’s because we were a bit late and they had a Christmas party of 130 going on! Bedroom was very nice but the mattress was too much hard for us. Good value overall."

"We enjoyed our stay the beds are comfy, rooms clean, staff were great, the area was great for our purpose and the food in the restaurant freshly cooked and extremely tasty. Plenty of parking available and the manager kept on top of everything. Well run establishment. My only issue was that I had an accessible room and the window let traffic noise in which disturbed me at night and there is no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries etc"
