Massive contrast with Fairfield: even though ESA was more expensive, the room was not nearly as nice or as well maintained: (door handle had been jarred loose, and did not feel secure); vinyl instead of carpet on the floor - just generally had more of a cheapo vibe. "Once we arrived, check in was all virtual done in app. We got to the room and it was dirty, crumbs and hair strewn everywhere. We contacted front desk and she was nonchalant about it and offered no sympathy. We were expecting to use the pool when we arrived, this was the main reason we booked at this location. "it was a short stay but the hotel was clean. Breakfast in the morning was great with different options. Ihop was also right there and walmart. All within easy walking distance."

"The room was a nonsmoking room, but all of our clothes smell like stale smoke. Our refrigerator did not work. We told the staff upon arrival, and they said someone would look at it. Never happened. There were 2 flimsy pillows on the bed, and the towels were small and thin. The best part of the room was the shower. The water was hot and the pressure really good. It’s a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. We would probably not stay there again."

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a problem with our toilet which seemed to be running too long to refill and they sent someone in the morning and it was taken care of. Breakfast had plenty of options and the breakfast area was open and inviting. In good weather there are outdoor tables as well. Bedroom was comfortable and the llving room was as well. We were on the third floor and it was very quiet and we had a tree right outside of our window. Parking was easy"

"Hotel was closed for months. We were never notified. Called to find out increasing the number guest. Phone was answered by housekeeping who said the hotel wouldn’t be open until March. I guess Expedia was never notified by best western."
